The following Charge was written by me, Lore Graves, as a personal expression of my devotion to Hekate. It weaves my relationship with Her and known passages from the PGM and other sources.

Hear me and know me for who I am
I was here before the name
I witnessed every down, dusk, and the new day after
If you try to fully understand me, your efforts will be in vain
Because I am the ever-changing mystery
I am the first, the last, and everything in between
I am the many-named Goddess
Kleidouche, Propylaia, Phósphore, Propolos, Brimo, Physi, Anassa Eneron, Zérynthia, Chtonia, Soteira.
But no matter the name
I AM HEKATE
Keeper of the four and three-way crossroads
Keyholder of the world
Lady of the Light and the darkness that contains it
My keys can unlock or seal
any door according to my will
The very thread of fate weaves through me
forming the eternal spiral of life
My torches keep away the dangers of the darkness
But also give comfort to my hordes of ghosts, dogs, and restless spirits.
You, who sees me as the moonless night
know it, the light of the new day also belongs to me
I am the one standing on the border
The barrier and the link between worlds
I am the victory over despair
The point of the blade that cuts through obstacles is mine!
and mine is the wish for renewal,
and mine is the source of power to overthrow the old
So I invite you to walk the path at my side
Walk with me, and receive the blessings of going beyond.
